The Orioles sell standing room tickets on sold out game days, which arent all that common, but you can also just buy a cheap ticket and find a better view than from your seat. Ill take this view if you throw in some hot dogs and club access. The transformed former seaport is packed with museums, shops and family attractions and is one of the citys most photographed areas. By most accounts, the Orioles are not hard on seat poaching, and for the low attendance games there are probably quite a few better seats available than where you are. Another slight issue is that if youre about halfway up or higher in Section 98, you may lose some of right field to the out-of-town scoreboard. The B&O Warehouse beyond the outfield wall is easily the most notable and widely recognized feature of the ballpark. The worst sections for this are sections that end in 64-72 in left field and 04-12 in right. Overall, the stadium is easy to navigate and has four main seating areas the field box level, the club box level, the terrace level and the upper level. Camden Club Level Amble around this vibrant area's waterfront or experience its lively festivals. Not the best seat for hot sunny summer day. If youre bringing the kids to an Os game, go for the first base/right field side. These are, in my opinion, the best seats at Camden Yards even for the price. Its easier to get to the upper deck here than in most parks there is a convenient escalator in the concourse, right off the south end of Eutaw Street. The play areas are mostly shaded, but the first base side does get less shade, so you should still have sunscreen and hats for the little ones, and try for seats in a higher row under the overhang if youre concerned about it. FYI: Do not park a vehicle you really care about in the garage overnight as masses of vehicles are parked in drive lanes, double parked and some in fire lanes overnight.Most games dont sell out, so this isnt difficult, but you may want to consider getting seats in a higher row (D or higher) if youre seeing the Os play the Yankees on a weekend. No problem, just wish someone would be knowledgeable of the situation and inform guests of a process. The valet says utilize the parking machine in the garage, but the parking machine by the elevators in the garage is currently broken with a sign that says to pay at the gate while exiting. The front desk says they no longer handle paying for parking, the valet station will only accept payment if you valeted your vehicle. Parking can be an issue and is expensive ($28.00/night). Otherwise we found them to be standoffish. The valets are good if you are utilizing valet services for your vehicle. Check your bill, as we had an item charged to our room incorrectly that took way too long to remove from our bill and add to the correct room once the error was realized. Check in was quick while check out was painful. You just get the feeling of being nickel and dimed on everything at this HIlton. Want some hot chocolate on a cold night? How about a 20 oz. Prices are expensive even for a downtown hotel. Various glasses, and beer cans were placed in the hallway in the evening and remained in the hall at least until 10AM the following morning. Issues: The vending machine is located next to the ice machine The prices for items inside the vending machine are ridiculously high ($4.00 for a soda). Check in time is 3:00PM and checkout time is 12:00PM. The full room service menu is available until 10:00PM, then a minimal menu is available. The doors of rooms slamming could be heard many rooms away. The walls between rooms are not soundproof. The wifi in the room was good, but the Hilton password had to be reentered various times in the day. There is an electronic safe in the closet The thermostat in the room was digital and the AC/heat worked well. The drapery did an adequate job of blocking light in the night. Soaps, shampoos, conditioner, and shower cap were provided. A hairdryer is provided in the bathroom in a drawer. The bathroom is standard with updated granite countertops and standard tiles. The TV is a flat screen with roughly 30-40 channels. The bed is firm with various soft pillows. We stayed in a regular room on the 15th floor. The Hilton is located right across the street from Camden Yards and has been renovated/newer than the majority of hotels in the same area.
